Muddy Paws does NOT have an actual brick and mortar facility.  All pets reside in the homes of foster parents or current owners. If you are interested in meeting or adopting one of our pets, please fill out the Adoption Application by clicking on the button below. After a short prescreening, we will contact you to answer any questions and arrange a meeting.

 

If the pet is listed in the Available Pets, they are still available. However, there may be another application that is also under review. Our pets are not adopted out on a "first come, first served" basis, we look for the application that is the best fit for the pet. Sometimes this screening process takes a bit of time, as every application is reviewed.

 

As an all-volunteer organization, we do our best to complete the entire process within 7 to 10 days. This time frame depends on how many applications that pet has, how easy it is to contact your references, and how quickly we can schedule your home visit.

If you do not receive any correspondence from us within 5 days of completing an application, please feel free to check the status by texting your name and the name of the pet to 402-515-2570. We communicate mostly via email, so please be sure to check that frequently.
